Mixed Martial Arts
Popularly known as MMA it is a combination of various martial arts / sports. There is no strictly defined framework that prescribes some or other combat formulas that are part of it. Mixed Martial Arts is, in other words, an all-style hand-to-hand combat characterized by a lot of freedom. Efficiency counts and the way of fighting presented by a given fighter is often dictated by the style from which he comes.
Under my supervision you will learn a mix of Chinese free fighting (Wushu Sanda), Thai boxing (Muay Thai), techniques and elements of Chinese wrestling (Shuai Jiao), free-style wrestling and classical boxing. The ground fight, i.e. Brazilian jiu jitsu, which fighters of mixed martial arts from other styles than BJJ most often train additionally is excluded. Each fight starts in a “stand-up”, so it is very important to be able to move in 3 planes: distance, clinch, bringing down to the ground – defense against abductions. The above elements are trained on each training unit in conjunction with tactics and combat strategy.
Thanks to the versatility and variety of exercises (flexibility, strength, stretching, specialized exercises), the training translates not only into combat effectiveness, but also improves condition, motor skills and overall physical fitness. MMA / MF trainings are dedicated to women and men of various levels of advancement.
